Dr Bhagadatta Chakma General Practitioner
Dr Bhagadatta Chakma MBBS (Dhaka) MSc (Monash) FRACGP graduated in 1987 and worked in hospitals in Bangladesh and New Zealand until migrating to Australia in 2000. Dr Chakma has worked in rural Australia as RMO and GP, and obtained FRACGP in 2009 before joining Swanston Street Medical Centre in 2011 as GP and Clinical Coordinator. Dr Chakma has special interest in skin checks and biopsies, occupational health including pre-employment medicals and work injury management, and anxiety disorders.
Dr Maziar Fahandej General Practitioner
Dr Maziar Fahandej graduated from Flinders University (SA) and is a dedicated and empathetic GP with over 20 years experience. Dr Fahandej has a wide variety of interests including psychological issues and counselling, adolescent health, travel medicine, sexual health, chronic illness and oncology. Dr Fahandej teaches at Melbourne University medical school, and consults at St Vincent’s Hospital. He consults in English, Persian (Farsi) and basic Spanish.
Dr Cecilia Ha General Practitioner
Dr Cecilia Ha graduated from University of Western Australia in 2004. Dr Ha moved to Melbourne to work at RMIT Health Services before joining Swanston Street Medical Centre. Dr Ha has special interest in women’s health, and consults in English and basic Cantonese.
Dr Choi Kwan General Practitioner
Dr Choi Kwan MBBS, DipObs, Dip PallMed, GradCertIT, RACGP completed his medical training at the University of Western Australia and has been a GP for over 20 years. Dr Kwan has worked in a variety of clinical settings including specialist student health, women’s health, psychiatry and palliative care services. Dr Kwan enjoys the diversity of General Practice at Swanston Street Medical Centre, and has special interests in occupational health, mental health, sexual health and skin checks. He conducts consultations in English and Cantonese. Outside work, Dr Kwan enjoys swimming, bushwalking, IT and spending time with his kids.
Dr Mulyono Kosasih General Practitioner
Dr Mulyono Kosasih is a GP with over 35 years experience in a wide range of clinical settings. Dr Kosasih has special interest in cardiology and was awarded a scholarship for his cardiology training and research at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. He currently consults at the Epworth and Brunswick Private Hospitals for his cardiology services. Dr Kosasih has worked in rural Victoria where he was involved in the Aboriginal Community Health Services, and has also worked in East Timor where he received an award from UNICEF in recognition of his work.

Dr Reddi enjoys caring for patients from all walks of life and from varied cultural backgrounds. Dr Reddi has special interests including women’s health, sexual health, travel medicine, mental health. Dr Reddi is interested in stress management and relaxation strategies including meditation.
Dr Lidija Coha General Practitioner

Dr Khai Yuen Tang General Practitioner (currently on leave returning 5 Oct 2020)
Dr Khai Yuen Tang MBBS FRACGP DipRACOG is a dedicated GP with over 55 years experience. Dr Tang graduated from the University of Singapore before migrating to Australia. Dr Tang has wide experience as a family physician, and has contributed to the care of the elderly in nursing homes and aged care facilities in his role as Medical Officer in the Residential Care Programme of the Australian Govt Health Service. Dr Tang has special interests including cardiovascular diseases, in particular ischaemic heart disease and hypertension. Other areas of interest include liver disease, urology and prostatic problems, caring for patients with hepatitis, and antenatal screening.
Dr Lisa Chang General Practitioner
Dr Lisa Chang is an Australian trained General Practitioner who graduated from the University of Queensland. She completed her GP training with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2005, and relocated to Melbourne joining Swanston Street Medical Centre in 2007. Dr Chang has special interests in women’s health and preventive medicine, although she enjoys all aspects of family medicine. She has two adorable children, and works part time.
Sarah Leech Physiotherapist
Sarah Leech graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Masters’ Degree in Doctor of Physiotherapy. She also completed a Bachelor of Health Science specialising in Musculoskeletal Therapy from the Australian College of Natural Medicine. Sarah’s interests are in musculoskeletal health; assisting with joint and muscle pain, occupational health; helping with return to work after an injury and also has interests in women’s and men’s health. Harry Papagoras Physiotherapist
Harry Papagoras graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) from LaTrobe University in 1990. While working in the USA for 5 years in the 1990s, he completed his training in the McKenzie Method, achieving the highest level of training offered by the McKenzie Institute International, the Diploma of Mechanical Diagnosis & Therapy. On his return to Australia, Harry worked at Australia’s first certified McKenzie clinic. He has been a director of the Australian Spine Institute and a director of 2 physiotherapy clinics in Dingley and Dandenong South, in Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs. He has also consulted at the Brighton Spinal Group where his experience in managing complex neck and back injuries were well utilised. Shiva Chouhan Psychologist
Shiva Chouhan is a Psychologist who has been with Swanson Street Medical Centre since 2013. She completed a Masters in Community and Counselling Psychology in Johannesburg South Africa before returning to practise in Australia and is currently completing training towards endorsement in Counselling Psychology. She has a keen interest in working with a range of mental health issues including depression and anxiety, with a focus on assisting personal and interpersonal functioning across the lifespan. She adopts a predominantly integrative approach, drawing on evidence based strategies and tailoring the therapeutic process to the needs of each client.
Chhavi Pal Psychologist
Chhavi Pal is an experienced Psychologist with clinical experience that encompasses clientele covering the lifespan from adolescence to older adults. Her counselling experience includes stress, anxiety, depression, bullying, relationship issues, trauma, self-esteem, sexuality, weight management, alcohol, sexual assault, Alzheimer’s and dementia, and also cases involving vocational rehabilitation. Chhavi uses clinical modalities such as CBT, ACT, EFT and EMDR Therapy, and she is flexible in her approach to tailor to the requirements of each clinic. Chhavi has vast experience working with people from cultural and linguistically diverse populations and conducting psychological assessment for candidates for the Australian Defence Force and Ambulance Victoria. Her knowledge of mental health consumer and carer issues was developed early in her career when Chhavi was a psychologist for an agency catering for the needs of mental health carers. This work experience gave her an understanding of the impact mental health issues have on families.
